Positive news comes from Russia; captive beluga and killer
whales are being transported to their natural habitats as part of a four-month
operation. The whales, originally captured for sale to Chinese aquariums, will
be taken back to where they were caught.

including celebrities, who petitioned for their release from captivity. It is
heartening to hear that the creatures will be returned to familiar territory
and back into their natural environment where they belong.
